DISCLAIMER: im talking in detail about kissing and the use of tongues. Even though i have negative experience, i want to stay respectful.

So i (f26) have been dating a guy (m32) for not even a month. Just for context, I've had quite some more experience than him. We kissed for the first time a few days ago. The first time is always a bit awkward as you're getting used to each other. He used no tongue at all, but i kind of forced it in there and he kept up with me, it was good (he liked it too). But fastforward to yesterday, we started kissing again. Well, 'kissing'. This time he just stuck his tongue out and swiped it left to right real quick against my own tongue. There was no actual kissing involved. It was like our tongs did the thumb wrestling game, or it was like a rattlesnake's tail, i don't know how to explain. And i tried to actually kiss using our tongues but he just kept his mouth open to just rattle his tongue. I was immediately turned off as i tried to change it multiple times but he didn't follow.

Now the thing is, i have dated 1 other inexperienced man as well and the same thing happened. It turned me off so bad, i wanted to leave immediately. Now i would like to subtely let him know that i dont like it but i dont know how. How do you even begin to tell someone this without embarrassing them? I respect them and understand that without experience they maybe don't know how, so i would like to help.

Also, is this what some men think 'french tongue kissing is? All tongue, no kissing? For me, french tongue kissing is actually kissing with the mouth open to use the tongue as well. I mean.... ive dated a french guy so i assume i know how, but you never know.

So is this a way of kissing i am just not familiar with or is this what they think french kissing is, I'd love to know.
